‘Tis the season of vacations! A time for beaching (use SPF!), relaxing, swimming...and potentially spending a lot of moolah. Yesterday, Brandon and I experienced an island getaway for a total of...ONE MILLION DOLLARS mwahahahahaha.

But actually, we went to an island for free.
We, the Summer on the Waterfront Alpha Squad, are burdened with the task of sampling the food trucks along the waterfront. And by burdened, we mean very very pleased and full of yummy food.
Here’s the round-up of today’s tastings:
As we walked through the Congress Street entrance of the Boston Children’s museum, we were greeted by Kevin, a friendly man who was just promoted to Head of Security. Kevin immediately pressured us to figure out his trivia question on the wall, “Which furry sea mammal is the slowest in the ocean?” After about five minutes of struggling to find the answer, the other interns, Brandon, Carly, Lynn and I were greeted by the warmth of Jo-Anne Baxter, the Marketing and PR Director of the Boston Children’s Museum.
A burst of yellow jets through the water, darting and weaving between brilliant blues and luminescent purples. You blink, you convince yourself that what you see is biologically possible. Coral flourishes in the tank, some species intricate as lace, home to dozens of tropical fish. There is not a Crayola crayon box in the world with enough colors to capture the vibrancy in this underwater paradise.
