Last Wednesday, we got the opportunity to go on the Codzilla boat ride, one of the many trips offered by Boston Harbor Cruises (BHC). It’s known as the fastest and wildest way to tour the harbor, so we were thrilled! The day was a bit cloudy and clouds were darkening overhead, but we stood in line anyway and waited patiently to get on the boat.

The boat was charismatic and engaged the visitors of the boat wonderfully!

On a hot summer’s day, Kate, Carly and I made the trek from TBHA’s offices (off Congress Street in Fort Point Channel) to the Harpoon Brewery (306 Northern Avenue) in the Seaport District. The day was blisteringly hot, but the promise of a deliciously refreshing brew in the middle of the day kept our spirits high.

Today Bryce, Angel and I took a trip to the East Boston Skatepark located at the Harborside Community Center (312 Border Street, East Boston) behind the Mario Umana Middle School. We got there at 10 am thinking that we’d be bale to have the WHOLE day to enjoy the waterfront views and the Skatepark itself. However, when we got there, we were told to return at 12:30 pm because summer school was in session. Initially, we were bummed, but then we decided to explore the area a bit and visit all the local businesses near the Skatepark and the surrounding neighborhoods.
