Short Beach, a relatively compact strip of rocks and sand which extends into Revere, serves primarily local residents by providing access to swimming, leisurely enjoyment of the shore, and extensive views of the northern harbor. Owned and operated by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Access: Short Beach is accessible by MBTA transit (MBTA Blue Line and bus connection)
